Edited by Mjfababaer, Catie, Indi.joy, Teresa and 3 others
An introduction is the bird's eye view of a research paper. Work hard, and it'll turn out great. Edit Steps
-
1Research some quotes, poems, or an interesting fact about the person of thing you're researching. Use it as a first sentence. (For example: Did you know that the Greek goddess Athena was born out of Zeus's head?)
-
2For a poem or quote you could say something like "That's right it's a quote/poem by..." If it's an interesting fact then you could say something like "That is one of the interesting things you will be learning about..."
-
3For the last sentence, try saying some good things about the thing. Like "There are so many interesting things to learn about..."
-
4Start the essay!
Edit Tips
- Try avoiding conversations such as "I hope you will enjoy my essay."
- Make sure it grabs the readers attention.
